Product Description
Rich black tea with special Indian spices. Individually wrapped mug size tea sachets. What makes this sachet special? Unlike paper tea bags, sachets hold full leaf tea, not dust. Enjoy rich, full leaf tea flavor with the handiness of a tea bag. Watch the leaves open and infuse your pot or mug with the true flavor of loose leaf tea. What is Single Region Tea? Two leaves and a bud uses teas that are grown, using traditional growing methods. Just like estate-grown wine, the quality of tea varies from hillside to hillside. Our experienced tasters select only the finest estates. We never blend with less expensive filler teas. The finest teas start with just the very smallest blossoms, the two leaves and a bud of the tea flower. We named our company for these shoots which are--The essence of tea. Tanginess: Tangy and fun. Body: Full bodied. Finish: Rich spices. Character: Chai is the Hindi word for tea. In recent years Chai has come to mean the spiced tea sold in the streets of every Indian town by the chai-wallah, the chai-man. We start with a great Indian tea (no cheap fillers) and add pure, whole spices to ours. Try it with milk and honey! Leaf Style: Orange Pekoe tea with full spices. Caffeine: Yes, but less than coffee. Origin: India. Elevation: Hills grown. Best: Breakfast. Packed in China.

  1. This is an excellent chai tea! My other favorite chai teas are Stash Double Spice and Mighty Leaf Chai.

The Mountain High Chai is a little sweeter than some and extremely smooth. I am very pleased.
